September 2007:
Proposed revisions to ARSD 20:52 dealing with changes to the license renewal date and physician assistant supervision requirements were approved by the SD Board of Medicine on September 11, 2007. The Legislature's Interim Rules Review Committee approved the rules on Sepember 27, 2007 and they have been filed with the Secretary of State. They will become effective October 17, 2007.
